We got another two girls to fill out our apartment, yay! That was confirmed yesterday.
Today was an hour and a half of English and skipping music class to work on my paper. Today was a meeting at 2 to discuss some general apartment stuff such as which room we want. Today was trying to work on my paper all day and not being able to focus.
Today was room draw. We just scraped by. We got the last apartment available for groups of six. The only other one left was for a group of five. We got our apartment, put down our room, and booked it out of there. Congregated outside and prayed. We needed it so much.
Stress just built up and up all day and climaxed in the hour we spent at room draw watching people go up and claim apartments. I couldn't even handle it anymore and spent that hour solving Paul's rubix cube over and over and over again. Spent most of the evening on the verge of tears. Relieved tears, and sad tears, for the people who didn't get apartments. Shitty deal. And now it's over.
Reuben has gotta be one of my favourite people. His funny comments and hilarious reactions are killer. His joking around made us laugh tonight =) And he's always a good Dutch Blitz opponent.
Time to focus. Lots to do by Thursday, and I'm only skipping one class tomorrow.
